Let me be honest with you up front. I'm not that excited about you purchasing this script. It would be much easier if you took the free version and used that.

Why you ask? Because if you take the free version, there is no commitment from either of us. I don't have to worry about technical support, answering questions for the umpteenth time, getting hasseled for refunds and that kind of stuff.

But the real reason I don't want your money is this ... the "free" version of the script will randomly display a link back to my site approximately 10% of the time it gets displayed. That means your site will give my site a backlink occassionally. What I am hoping for is someone with millions of pages online decides to use the "free" version - think of how many backlinks I would have.

How's that for honesty?

Want some more truth? The script is really basic. It doesn't do all these fancy things like display links in javascript, or spider endless pages from your site, or give you the ability to display which links get displayed on what site, or give more preference to newer links than older links. None of that.

All linktator does is spider one, just one, of your pages (hint: have it spider your sitemap), create code that you insert on whatever page you want, then randomly display however many links you tell it to.

Maybe a little more than that. The script does give you the choice of how you want to separate your links, but that's about all the flexibility there is.

More honesty?

I built in some error checking. Why did I do that? In case you think I did it to make it easier for you to get up and running with the script, you're wrong (though that is a benefit). I did it so I wouldn't have to provide much technical support. More error checking = less technical support.
